"In 2006, we decided we wanted to produce "advertorials" for our operations in Nigeria and Angola to explain to our customers - and employees - the scope of our business in west Africa. We published the Nigeria feature with the March 2006, of our in-house magazine. John's photography enlivened this 6 page document, which was received with wide-spread acclaim. John travelled between our offices in Lagos to our support facility in Onne to capture some great images of our people.
We had a problem with the Angola feature that followed in September. We prepared a narrative before hand for the article that featured our service centres in Luanda and in Malongo, Cabinda. But John took so many fantastic photographs we had a job fitting them all in. In fact, we had to tear up the draft document and extend the final version by two pages. Thanks John!
